What Economic Depression?

Earlier I went to Red Robin. Delicious, Very Delicous. But that's not what made me so confused. You always hear so much about the economic deperssion. However, if I didn't hear things about the depression every day, I would never guess that things are that bad. Not only was Red Robin packed, the entire mall parking lot was filled. Confused? I know I am. If thigs are really THAT bad, the malls should be nearly empty and the diners should be mostly empty. The reporters must be wrong, because I really haven't noticed much of a difference since this "economic downturn" started. I might not have the greatest idea of whats happening outside my home, but I know that this economic depression isn't really as bad as they say. I usually leave you with something to think about. This week is no exception. Who says that our economy is reall in dispair? Is it the store owners, the shoppers, or just the annoying old media?

  1. Sometimes I think the exact same thing you do. "What recession?"

I think because you live in a home where two people have jobs, it's a little harder to see what's going on with the economy. We definitely don't feel the pinch like other households because we both have jobs and pull a steady paycheck. I'm sure if you were to talk to someone whose parents didn't have a job right now, they'd tell you they can see how bad the economy is.
